Remote and hybrid work have inspired changes in business recruiting and onboarding employees, and the heightened need for trustworthy workers. Background checks (covering false employment history, education disparities and criminal history) and private investigations (covering work from home fraud, workplace theft and harassment) both had an upsurge of requests during 2020.
The City of Fort Worth has teamed with The Meeting Squad for a free, online Zoom panel discussing how to navigate these new waters from a legal perspective. The event will take place from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, June 7.
The panelists have more than 65 years of collective experience assessing workplace do's and don'ts, and there will be plenty of storytelling and many good suggestions to help your workplace learn about the challenges involved, and figure out which solution is right for them.
