With all the rain that has fallen on Fort Worth over the last month, mosquitoes are eager to breed in standing water.
The best way to avoid mosquito viruses such as West Nile virus is to prevent mosquito bites. And the best way to avoid bites is to eliminate areas where mosquitoes lay eggs. Standing water is the biggest culprit.
Adult mosquitoes live inside and outside, and they can bite during the day and the evening hours. Even a few infected mosquitoes can produce large outbreaks.
