ASBURY PARK, NJ – The City of Asbury Park Park is now accepting applications for small business grants for businesses in the city that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The grants, which are $2,500 each, are funded by the Community Development Block Grant supported by the Federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
"The City of Asbury Park prides itself on its vibrant small business community," said Mayor John Moor in a statement on the city's website.
"Our local businesses have been severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, and we hope the City of Asbury Park Small Business Grant will provide them with some much-needed relief on their road to recovery."
Qualified applicants with 10 or fewer employees and an active business license can apply for a City of Asbury Park Small Business Grant, and applications and eligibility requirements can be found online at www.cityofasburypark.com/communitydevelopment.
