Heavy Equipment Mechanic ETI, Inc. is an independent heavy equipment/parts dealer, that is looking for an experienced mechanic. This candidate must be proficient with heavy equipment and have mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills. Primarily Caterpillar equipment but also all other manufacturers. Duties and Responsibilities: · Will assist and guide other technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting defects in heavy machinery such as; Scrapers, motor graders, dozers, backhoes, excavators, etc. · Skills in fabricating and welding are a plus · Must have own tools · Able to read schematics · Must be reliable with flexible hours and willing to travel · Must have a strong work ethic, able to work efficiently · Must have working knowledge of methods, tools and equipment used in repair of equipment · Must know the theory and operation of engines and drive train components, brakes, electrical and hydraulics · Must be willing to have a background check · Must be willing to work in adverse weather · Clean Driving record, CDL not required · Proficiency on CAT SIS and ET a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $33.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, Paid time off, Vision insurance
