An independent heavy equipment/parts dealer is looking for a Yard Technician
Daily
· Open Gates
· Check oil in forklifts & clean glass – first start-up
· Dump trash in shop every night
· Lock parts trailer, close-up and lock Blues shop, Front shop and both gates
· Ensure forklifts and gator are parked in appropriate locations
· Overall help to mechanics, parts dept. etc…
· Help shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks
Weekly
· Sweep shop
· Pick up all buckets in yard and empty, clean as needed
· Overall building maintenance
· Clean company vehicles and equipment
· Forklifts – fuel, grease and clean every week
· Clean grass areas
· pick-up trash in the yard, broken pallets, loose hoses, bolts, etc.
Qualifications
· Must be able to work in inclement weather.
· Must be able to lift 100lbs
· Must have a general knowledge of hand tools, Skills in welding are a plus.
· Must be able to operate a forklift
· Must have a valid drivers license
