The Denver Pops Orchestra is seeking musicians for the 2021-2022 season! We have openings for section string players. Not a string player? Schedule an audition anyway - we are always happy to add great musicians to our substitute list! We are a volunteer organization that performs a variety of popular music, including Broadway and movie arrangements, dance and big band tunes, and light classical pieces. We rehearse in Denver on Wednesday evenings from August through May. We are holding auditions the evening of Wednesday, July 14th. For auditions, we would like to hear two short excerpts of your choosing - a classical excerpt, a pops or jazz excerpt, and sight reading.
