Fundraiser Rummage Sale at Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church (ORUUC): ORUUC will hold its semi-annual rummage sale this weekend. Bargain hunters, mark your calendars for Friday, (preview sale,) June 4 from noon to 6 pm & Saturday, June 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ORUUC is located at 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike. Proceeds raised will help to support various outreach ministries of the church. Shoppers and volunteers will be required to wear a mask at all times. To promote social distancing, a limited number of people at a time will be permitted inside. Clothing and accessories for the family, household items, small appliances, furniture, home décor, DVDs, CDs, books, toys, tools, athletic equipment, garden items, TVs, and other electronics in working order will be available. The Boutique will feature glass, silver serving pieces, art, pottery, vintage collectables, a mountain dulcimer, and a student viola with case. For the best choices of items, shoppers may prefer shopping the preview sale on Friday to get the best selection. Prices are doubled for the preview sale.
