Have you ever wanted to learn how to use natural dyes in a way that can leave a lasting impression over and over again? Or maybe you also want to learn the basics of screen printing on fabric; if this is the case, this workshop is perfect for you! In a one-day intensive class, you will get your hands dirty mixing your inks using natural materials such as indigo and cochineal to create a thick seaweed-based substrate. In addition to mixing inks, you will get the opportunity to practice the basics of screen printing. By the end of the day, every student will go home with not only the understanding and knowledge to mix inks and pull a screen print but also their very own t-shirt!
