MARIN COUNTY, CA — A district that serves Mill Valley and a union representing teachers have reached a deal on a three-year contract, The Marin Independent Journal reports.
The Tamalpais Union High School District and the Tamalpais Federation of Teachers agreed on a deal that includes a 2.5 raise for the 2021-2022 school year, a 3 percent hike for the following year and a 2 percent retroactive raise for the current school year according to the report.
The deal includes the potential for additional raises should property tax revenues experience a growth rate in excess of 5 percent, the report said.
