Private Well Water Study in Southeastern Pennsylvania

Researchers at Temple University are looking for families that drink water from a private well for a paid study funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). They are interested in keeping children safe from illnesses that can be spread by drinking well water. Families will receive a whole-home UV water treatment device (value of device + installation: $1,000), gift cards (up to $70), and raffle entry for a family trip to Hershey Park or Dutch Wonderland. To be part of this study, families must have a child three years old or younger and live in Berks, Bucks, Chester, Lancaster, Lehigh, or Montgomery county.
