Lynne Hook, the founder of Employer Lawyer, offers advice on how to handle mental health issues in the workplace in a post for the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce.
According to Hook, it is fear, anxiety, and new at-home work habits that are leaving many apprehensive to return to in-person responsibilities.
In her latest post, Hook offers steps to accommodate mental health issues in the workplace.
"Whether employees are feeling enthusiastic or not can really impact your business," Lynn writes in her post. "As we start to emerge from this unusual business period, it is a good time to review your obligations and options as an employer regarding mental disabilities of employees."
