DEERFIELD, IL — With summer right around the corner, it seems like everyone is looking for a good book to read. A family of geese were seen "shopping" at around noon Tuesday at the Barnes & Nobles store on North Waukegan Road in Deerfield. Reader Jenny Goldstick, a Deerfield native who is visiting her parents from New York City, sent Patch a "news tip" video of the family making their way around the store. Goldstick said it was unclear whether they were just browsing or looking for something specific. She said they were heading toward the music section. Patch reached out to Barnes & Noble and were told no employees who witnessed the goose visit were available to talk.
