The appointments at my school, Carrington College is free. Each appointment is three hours and may require more than one appointment. The appointment will include: medical and dental history, vitals, dental charting, X-rays, patient education, and teeth cleaning. If needed, fluoride treatment, sealants, local anesthesia and an exam by the clinic’s licensed dentist. This is a learning facility and the instructors must over see students, which also adds in time, however, the patient can have peace of mind knowing they have had the most thorough dental hygiene appointment of their life!!
