ECHO Shelter Atascadero is currently looking for volunteers to help with the Registration Desk starting June 2021 from 4:30pm - 6:00pm. Available shift days will vary. Position Description: The Registration volunteer welcomes clients to dinner and signs them in for their nightly meal. The volunteer also helps with shelter applications, and answers basic shelter/program questions. This position is best suited for people who enjoy working with others in a supportive role. Training for this position will be provided during the volunteer's first few shifts. ECHO (El Camino Homeless Organization) provides shelter for some of the unhoused men, women, and children in SLO County, 365 nights a year.
