Rehoming puppy due to allergies

We are having to rehome our 7 month old Catahoula mix puppy because our son has developed an allergy to dogs in the past three months. His doctor recommends not having any dogs in the home and it feels unfair to banish a puppy to living outside 24/7. He loves people and attention. We've never had him around other animals, but with a proper introduction I think he would be okay. He's lived on property his whole life and doesn't wander off at all. He really is a great dog who would love a family with kids to play with all day long. We are asking a rehoming fee to ensure his next family is serious about our sweet boy. He comes with all his essentials.
