Building A Cover Band

As things start to get back to some form of normal, we think bars will be looking for entertainment more and more to draw crowds back. We would like to build something that will last and that will start to run itself a bit as it grows. I am a drummer that was born in the 80's and I think that late 80's, 90's and early-mid 00's area is what a lot of people want to hear. I'm thinking a couple of months to build up a song list and starting to play out as soon as we have 30-40 songs ready to go. We have rhythm guitar, 1 of 2 vocals and drums, we're looking to add another vocalist that can play guitar (sharing rhythm and lead) and a bass player to round it all out. Ideally looking to share guitar and vocals between two people and also keep it to 4 members, if possible to keep scheduling easier. No drama or hard drugs, please. Looking to run this like a fun business. Have some good contacts for venues and lots of industry contacts as well. We have good gear and transportation, lots of gigging and rehearsal experience and we are fully vaccinated. We have practice space in Novi. Looking forward to putting something great together.
