JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Coordinator will perform tasks such as repairs, maintenance and upkeep of the facilities, as well as larger projects and repairs. The Maintenance Coordinator be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are functional. Licensed contractor preferred. Completion of apprenticeship required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete work-orders in an effective and timely manner Standard handyman work including: appliance repair & troubleshooting, painting, plumbing, light electric, light carpentry, & patching drywall. Porter/Grounds keeping work during downtime. Perform fixes such as repairing broken locks, windows, flooring etc. Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues Install appliances and equipment Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc. Exterior preventative maintenance Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation) Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm) Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES QUALIFICATIONS: · Experience with plumbing, painting, hardware installation, trouble shooting & repairs, electric, and other general maintenance. · Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems · Experience using hand and electrical tools · Ability to read technical manuals and drawings · Very good communication and interpersonal skills · Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. · Physical stamina and dexterity Education and Experience · Licensed contractors preferred High school diploma or equivalent · Successful completion of an apprenticeship · Experience and solid in repairs knowledge. · Must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Required Documents · Valid California Driver's License or valid State ID · Vehicle Insurance as required by law Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
