Their lifespans are around 3years of age. Pet rats enjoy perching on your shoulder, climbing on fun habitats, and hand pets as they are like miniature dogs in personality. They want to be with their humans and out of their cage daily, but can be content in their cage with a companion pet rat. Great, sturdy pets for first time child pet owner to learn responsibility, as these are hardy animals and very resilient, loving, and tame.
