What to Expect: Responsible for safely removing parts, dissembling autos, testing parts removed, and documenting activities in an efficient and professional manner We supply tools You will be working outside ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Remove parts from vehicles in a safety conscious manner while maintaining high productivity 2. Label and tag parts to be placed into stock 3. Check the quality and product type of the parts 4. Test engine and all electronic items, remove battery and test 5. Drain fluids and ensure their proper storage 6. Perform cuts as needed 7. Fill out required paperwork Required Skills and Experience: • Basic knowledge of automotive parts • Basic computer skills Hours: • 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri Physical Demands: • This job position is designated as a safety sensitive position • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels. • Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet. • Requires standing for extended period of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance. • Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity. • Requires use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment. • Requires frequent driving and some typing. • Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance About us: Fenix Parts, Inc. is a leading auto recycler and reseller of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) automotive products in the United States.
