Job Description Job Title: Field Operation Manager Division: Porter/Retail – Exterior cleaning Company background/opportunity: MA Building Services is a full service building maintenance company – looking to add a field ops manager to help oversee, and coach staff. You will also serve as a point of contact for managers needing direct assistance from field personal. MABS is a growing company with AMPLE OPPORTUNITY FOR ADVANCEMENT. We are growing and as a result it will be a fast paced environment with a all hands on deck mentality. Primary Role: You are the boots on the ground oversight. You are responsible for oversight regarding the quality of the cleaning. From proactive oversight to ensure internal standards are met, to reactionary issues as they arise. In both examples, documenting/auditing properties with reports will be a large part of your day to day role. You are also the first point of contact to the staff members, your mission is to coach them, train them, and guide them. Incentivizing them to do the best job possible. You are also a point of contact to customers for immediate requests, or communication that requires eyes on the site. Secondary Role: - Supporting the building services division as needed and directed by the operations specialists in that division. This could be assisting in executing work, to gathering intel and data for jobs to be bid. - Filling in for staff as they call off. - Performing “detail” and “Spruce” up cleans. Primary Objectives: - Quality Control – associated reported. - Coaching, training, and mentoring staff. - Addressing client concerns. - Client communication – in when on site contact/information is required. - Reactive quality control – addressing client complaints. Keys to success: - Communicate with staff members with a respectful, fair and clear communication style. - Provide documentation to your work, go the extra mile when you are on site, to ensure center is always looking better when you left it. - Conflict resolution, managing and leading staff with patience, and respect Requirements: - 2+ years of related building services experience. - 2+ years of relevant management experience. - Valid drivers license - Bilingual is a plus ++ Compensation: - $18-$20 per hour (based on experience ) - Company Vehicle and 100% gas compensation (Vehicle to be taken home). - Company phone, and tablet.
