This is a request for interested parties to apply for a Caretaker position for an unstaffed train station. The Caretaker is responsible for daily maintenance of the station to include trash patrol, cigarette butt cleanup, emptying all trash receptacles and removal of same from all areas of the station including: Platform Stairs Walkways Shelters Parking lots Lawns Elevators The caretaker is also required to report inoperable elevators and any inoperable lights throughout the facility to the District Manager. The Caretaker is also responsible for posting Amtrak notices and verifying that outside vendor repairs/maintenance have been completed. Caretake required to register with Ariba, Amtrak’s free accounts payable system and complete annual Amtrak Contractor Safety Training course. Please forward resume. References required.
