Description

We are hiring lifeguards for our small neighborhood pool. Lifeguards maintain safety and well-being of patrons while they take part in activities at or around the pool, and also perform basic daily maintenance on the pool and pool area. Requirements: * An active Red Cross Lifeguard Certification * Transportation to and from the pool * A phone and email address for coordinating schedules * Appropriate swim attire and a whistle * Must be 16 Years of age or older Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Fulfill all scheduled lifeguard shifts as determined by the Lifeguard Coordinator * Monitor all guests closely, with constant, undistracted attention during shift * Perform all daily cleaning tasks and maintenance at the pool * Perform water rescues when necessary * Provide emergency care and treatment as required until EMS arrives * Enforce pool safety rules and guidelines * Administer swim tests for neighborhood children * Maintain Pool, Guard Shack and Bathrooms Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any other questions!
