Maintenance Technician & Day Porter About the firm Company is a boutique real estate firm located in Westminster, CO. We are seeking a part-time maintenance person conducts the day-to-day maintenance activities 12 to 25 hours per week depending upon skillset and the season. We are a small company; a team of four with each of us working independently, yet as a team! Timely oversight and attention to detail are key in this position. We have high expectations to keep our properties pristine. Hiring goal We seek an experienced maintenance person who brings a toolbox of skills from routine maintenance to building repairs. The individual will maintain 5 local retail/office properties all in close proximity, handling daily grounds keeping, maintenance, repair, etc. The role calls for strong organizational skills to provide efficient operations and upkeep of properties. While skill-set requires someone mechanically inclined and organized, a positive attitude, strong work ethic and integrity are of the utmost importance. Role Overview & Company Offering This is a part-time position that offers pay commensurate with experience. Typically this job entails work 3 to 4 days per week making rounds to conduct maintenance at properties; hours vary by season from 3 to 6 hours per day. For a strong background in maintenance, we have the ability to provide additional hours and additional projects. Additional time may be needed for snow shoveling or occasional emergencies. Hourly pay is commensurate with experience level and productivity; fuel allowance and phone reimbursement provided with use. Essential functions: • Daily property visits, assessments, and day porter services • Maintain the exterior of the property to provide clean and pristine curb appeal • General repair and maintenance • Interface with tenants, vendors, and ownership • Oversight of landscape maintenance • Manage calendar and scheduling of maintenance tasks • Advise property manager and ownership of maintenance issues and recommended solution(s) • Maintain required recordkeeping logs; utilize and track maintenance via property management software system • Assist the Property Manager in monitoring capital improvement projects at the property • Manage other responsibilities as delegated by the Property Manager Qualifications: • Strong organizational skills in managing vendors and contracted maintenance service providers • 2+ years experience in a maintenance role • Competent user of the computer is a plus • Possess a valid driver's license, and a reliable vehicle • Possess basic tools of the trade Hours: Somewhat flexible AM hours, 4 days per week Special Instructions to Applicants: We are committed to providing a positive and productive work environment where we all flourish and are rewarded for our contributions.
