Aggressive Dog needs work and love

Spotty is a 2 year old cataholua/mountain cur mix that we got from a friend. He comes from a long line of hog hunting dogs. We tried making him into a family dog but he has been aggressive towards our children and friends when they come over. The only animal he hasn't been aggressive towards is our other dog but he tries to attack our cats and the neighborhood dogs when their owners just let them roam the streets. He scares the ever loving crap out of me. We plan on having him put down this Friday 06/04 but in a last effort to save his life, I'd thought I would try posting him here to see if anyone would be willing to save him. He has not been neutered and we have attempted many times to take him to a vet to get vaxed and etc but, as I already stated, he scares the crap out of me.
