Is this job opportunity requires relocation location to Northern Virginia. Payrate $28 per hour. You will also get $400 “welcome aboard” bonus after the trial. Well established household and office moving company has immediate openings for Moving Crew Foreman / Driver. 3 years of professional experience and the right attitude are required. This job involves working on a household relocation team, packing and unpacking furniture, loading and unloading trucks, driving 26' box trucks. Regular heavy lifting is required. High performance is expected and rewarded. Crew dispatched daily from Fairfax, VA. Requirements: ability to speak/read English, be punctual, hardworking and self motivated ability to lift heavy items (30-120 lb and more) ability to work weekends and holidays be able to pass background check and drug screening must be at least 21 years old and have at least 3 years of experience as a Foreman/Driver valid driver's license clean driving record experience driving box trucks up to 26' in size excellent customer service skills Responsibilities: leading the moving crew on the job, distributing duties, ensuring the crew's efficiency and safety driving a 26' box truck safely; ensuring the vehicle is clean and organized greeting and efficiently communicating with the customer throughout the move wrapping furniture with blankets and other protective materials, loading and unloading truck by hand or by use of hand-truck padding, stacking and securing items in truck, ensuring the truck is loaded efficiently and safely with knowledge of forming a compact load and even weight distribution; transporting items without damage calculating and presenting total move bill to the customer and collecting payment
