Grounds Maintenance Worker   Why You Should Apply Join the City of Camas for the Summer season! Great opportunity to gain experience working with local government and build your resume! Ideal three month assignment late May to late August.   Schedule Temporary Full-Time Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm   Salary $15.30-16.32 per hour DOE   Industry Government   The Role Your experience and comfort working outdoors will contribute to this tight knit team’s mission to maintain the upkeep of the beautiful City of Camas! This role is ideal for those who have experience mowing on acreage and are looking to gain experience working with local government! A background check will be required upon offer.   Primary Responsibilities -Maintaining City of Camas grounds by mowing, weeding, edging. -Maintaining local roadways and parking spaces by cleaning and painting. -Operating push and riding lawn mowers, pressure washers, and other tools as needed.   Skills and Must-Haves -At least one year of recent grounds maintenance or flagging experience. -Current flagger card or ability to obtain one prior to starting. -Must offer experience operating a riding lawn mower. -Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions. -Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, relatively clean driving record, and personal cell phone.     The Company The City of Camas is a local government agency seeking temporary staff to support their seasonal team!
