Speckled king snake - I think

Was stacking a pile of wood this morning and surprised what, after a bit of googling, looks like a speckled king snake. It dove further into the pile when I tried to grab it with a rake. If you want a (I think) speckled king snake and have the ability to catch it, you can have it for free. It’s got to be today (Wednesday) or tomorrow morning while it’s still cool. I’m determined to get the rest of this wood stacked by tomorrow.
