We have an immediate opportunity for a proven Diesel Mechanic working with tow trucks, OTR trucks, trailers and heavy equipment at our Nashville TN facility. Walk ins welcome 9a-4p @ 12725 old hickory blvd Antioch TN. * Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on OTR and heavy equipment in adherence to company safety policies and all federal, state and local regulations. * Must be proficient in Cummins engine diagnostics, Cummins InSight software and after treatment systems * Troubleshoot and repair various types of Heavy Equipment (Road tractors, towing equipment, etc..) * Skilled in heavy equipment, diesel mechanics, pneumatic, hydraulics, electrical & welding * Knowledge & minor repairs of trucks, ability to use diagnostic equipment * Able to perform scheduled PM's on trucks and equipment * Fabrication Skills (welding, cutting, etc.) * Must be proficient in commercial tire service and tire repairs/replacements * Work in all types of weather conditions (indoors & outdoors) * Clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations * Must have own set of hand tools * Day shift with infrequent on-call * 40+ hrs/wk Benefits: * Medical, dental, vision, life, accident, disability insurance after 90 days Experience: heavy equipment: 3 years (Preferred) fabrication/welding: 1 year (Preferred) hydraulic: 3 years (Preferred) heavy truck repair: 5 years (Required) Job Type: Full-time $20-$30 per hour based on experience
