Meet Diesel! This sweet boy is a 7 year old, Pitbull Boarder Collie who needs to be rehomed. Hes been with the same person since he was 3 months old, but due to some unfortunate circumstances his owner cannot keep him anymore. Diesel has lots of energy and would love a place to run and an active family, but also someone with a good understanding of both breeds. He absolutely loves people but may do better with older children. Diesel is not a good fit for a novice owner as he does have some dog aggression issues. His owner says he is great with females but is very selective with males. He does not like another male who will challenge him so it's something he needs worked on. He does have some separation anxiety but settles down fairly quickly. With enough love and exercise and the right guidance, Diesel will surely be able to overcome this. He doesnt pay any mind to chickens, however hes very interested in the cats. He likes to chase them but does listen when you call him away. Caution should still be taken. Did I mention he LOVES water! And he will fetch for you. He listens very well off leash and is very respectful on leash as well. He let's you groom him, touch his paws, ears, eyes, mouth etc. with no issues. He does not jump up on you even when hes excited to see you, and he smiles!!!
