Pro vocalist looking for band/players for something dark, heavy and different. True baritone with many many years of experience. No Alt/Indie, no tributes/covers unless you're talking something like the Doors or Steppenwolf, and even then it should be more of a celebration less of a wig wearing cheesy tribute thing. I saw both those bands in their prime while living in Los Angeles, that level of artistry has STILL never been touched, and it sure won't be by what passes for music today. I also have a killer, authentic Blues/Heavy Blues Rock voice ala Allman, Cocker, Wolf, Free era Paul Rodgers, Jack Bruce, Jim Dewar(Robin Trower) Moody/Marsden era Whitesnake and the like, it's a mean, dark Blues based weapon, and we're talking great tone, pitch and phrasing as well. ONLY interested in playing with serious, ambitious people, no weekend warriors, there's only about five to six percent really good players in ANY city now, so that's what I'm after. Covid is waning, so it's time to come up out of the bunker and kick butt, folks are going to NEED real music, and it takes REAL artists to make it for them, and real artists DON'T compromise or play what they THINK people want to hear, I've been AT this for a long time, people aren't dumb, they can tell when it's real, and they'll respond accordingly.
