A Packaging/Crating assembly production worker Full time Starting Hourly: $14 -$17 per hour (Depending on Experience) Min : High School diploma or GED Shift: 6AM-2:30PM Monday - Friday (OT required as needed during the week and Saturdays) About the Job As a Packaging/Crating assembly production worker, you will support warehouse operations, including building crates, pallets and other all other packaging related materials which includes but is not limited to packing and crating, These are entry-level positions requiring crating / packaging/ assembly experience of a minimum 1 year or a minimum of 3 years in construction is efficient enough to start and begin training. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED 18 years of age or older 1 year of work experience as a crater /and or packer - Production assembly Experience operating a forklift Ability to lift/push/pull up to 70 pounds Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment/ Hand tools/ Nail Gun Ability/willingness to learn to operate a variety of tools to perform the work Ability to work in adverse conditions such as inclement weather and an environment that has constant noise and moving machinery Understanding of OSHA laws and regulations Ability to meet the minimum requirements Ability to work as a team and also working independently Ability to Read and use a measuring Tape Ability to Read and understand Drawings & Blue prints and anything else required to do the job as directed by management
