I was gifted an 8 month old German Sheppard after my dog of 13 years passed away. I have a cat of 5 years, and although the original owners stated the German Sheppard was good with cats, it appears otherwise. The dog is not aggressive with my cat and does not attack her, but instead he has a really deep bark, and his bark has frightened her to the point that she will not come out of my closet. For this reason I need to rehome the dog. What I know of the dog: House trained, will whine at the door, playful, energetic, very friendly with others, likes to be outside and play, has never been around other dogs and when I took him around another dog he gets a little scared, cuddling and he loves to run wild in my back yard. He is BIG, weighing about 65lbs!! This dog is FREE to a good home as long as you understand that he is a puppy who is in need of training and needs space/yard. I would like to see this beautiful dog go to someone who has time and patience and would appreciate him and all he has to offer.
