Bass Player Needed For a Heavy Melodic Band

Heavy, melodic band looking for the right fit. We’re looking for someone pretty specific. Hopefully someone with a similar background as us musically. We both come from 90s hard core and punk bands with a love of metal as an underlying binder. I guess some would say we’re post hard core/post rock. We’re not technical by any means. Less is definitely more with us. Guitar and bass are tuned to A and we want heavy distribution from the bass. Feel is everything and we go from creating a walls of heaviness to beautifully melodic, all with feel and balance. We’re both (guitar/vocals and drums) well seasoned players and have played/toured/recorded in bands for 30+ years so ideally, we’d love to have someone with a similar background. We’re both in or mid 40s, work full time and have families. We don’t party and we practice at our Petaluma rehearsal studio on most Saturday and Sunday mornings. Although our intentions are serious, we’re not interested at all in touring or finding a label. Our goal is creating music that we love, record it and release it and possibly play a show here and there for the right opportunity.
