General Labor - Heat Treat

Our client has a temp to permanent General Labor position available in their Heat Treat department. The candidate must be available for Day and Night shifts; the candidate will switch shifts every three months. The right candidate will have the potential to be promoted to a Station Operator in the control room. • Duties may include assisting with movement of pipe, loading material onto line, offloading material from line, monitoring control panels and automated movement of pipe, racking/in-racking of material • Mark pipe with status code or stencils approved by others • Clean area • Practice and enforce safety policies written • May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of departmental objectives and to develop one's skills • Other duties as assigned • Must be able to push pipe, and safely lift and carry 60lbs. • The employee must also be able to work outside in a variety of conditions.
