Emily Mueller from “Mueller Honey Bee” will perform live and in-person on Saturday, June 19th at 10:00 AM.
Emily will bring a swarm, tie the queen to a tree branch and then let them gather on her simulating a swarm. She will then cut the swarm down and explain the process of swarm removal.
Folks can take pictures with the swarm before cutting it down, stressing the fact that they are still bees and can sting. She will also discuss the removal from different locations like off fences, tree trunks, etc.
Plus, she will answer questions about swarm removal. Virgin swarms seem to be in high numbers this year, so she will discuss the difference and things to do when you catch them.
