Wine Shop DUTIES: Required at least 1 year of experience in cleaning duties. Required physical ability to be agile at all times, including walking fast, moving 50-lb cases of wines carefully up and downstairs, proactiveness in cleaning what is evident to customers, without waiting to be asked to do so. No second chances. Required Proof of Vaccination against COVID-19 -OPEN WINE CASES, DISTRIBUTE THEM ON THE TABLE IN A RAPID MANNER, LABEL THEM. -REPLACE INVENTORY AS IT SELLS. -MAKE SURE THE PRICE TAGS AND NOTECARDS ARE CORRECT. -MEMORIZE NAMES OF WINES FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. -KNOW YOUR INVENTORY ORGANIZATION, KNOW WHERE THE PRODUCTS ARE. -HELP COUNTING ALL CASES ONCE A MONTH FOR INVENTORY COUNT DAY. -MAINTAINING THE SALES FLOOR NEAT AND CLEAN. DUSTING INVENTORY. MAINTAINING SHELVES CLEAN AND DUST FREE. -CHANGING THE AIR CONDITIONER FILTER. -MOVING HEAVY LADDER UP AND DOWNSTAIRS -MAINTAINING BATHROOM AND COFFEE STATION CLEANLINESS AND DOING A PRECISE CLEANING ONCE A WEEK, INCLUDING TOILET. -CLEAN SURFACES ON BATHROOM EVERY DAY DUE TO COVID-19. -SETTING UP THE TRASH, DIVIDING PAPER, RECYCLABLE MATERIALS AND REGULAR TRASH, EVERY WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY. ORGANIZING CARDBOARDS AND TAKING THEM OUT ON CERTAIN DAYS. -MAKING DELIVERY IN A 15 BLOCK RADIUS FROM THE STORE, INCLUDING CARRYING A DOLLY WITH A WINE CASE. -USING SMARTPHONE TO ID CUSTOMERS WHEN HANDING MERCHANDISE OUT (EXCEPT DOORMEN). BEING ABLE TO USE A SMARTPHONE TO UPDATE DELIVERY STATUS. -PREPARING SHIPMENT PACKAGES (CARDBOARD BOXES) WITH WINES, TAPING IT, LABELING IT AND DROPPING IT OFF AT FEDEX. Job Type: full-time Pay: $15.00 per hour WHAT WE OFFER: -40 hours/week, 6 hours on Tuesdays (up to 5pm), 9 hours on Wed's, Thu's, Fri's & 7 hours on Sat's. Sundays and Mondays off! -$200-400 in tips every 15 days (depending on customer's tips). -General benefits of working at a wine store, such as wine knowledge and ability to taste and getting informed in our tastings, and employee discount. -You will be doing most of the store's deliveries when you are on duty. You will always be given priority to perform delivery and we will not use a third party service if you are in (except for farway areas). That means an exclusive amount of dedicated deliveries, and great tips. -Paychecks are every two weeks and average at around USD 1,500 (PRE-TAX)
