Job Description: A lovely family looking for a part-time housekeeper to help in their home, with cleaning, laundry, errands and general assistance. Back-up nannying and babysitting may be required on occasion. Successful applicants will have some experience in private homes and be trustworthy self-starters. Candidates with Italian language and/or cooking skills are highly encouraged to apply. Job Title. Live-out Housekeeper in Manhattan, NY Hours. 6-8 hours per day, 3 days per week (non-weekend, days are flexible), around 10/11 a.m. - 5/6 p.m. in the house with errands required as well. Salary. $20-30 per hour, dependent on experience The Family. Two parents, 1 nine-year-old daughter The House. Townhouse, 6 floors Start Date. ASAP Key Responsibilities* Please find your primary responsibilities outlined below *Please note the below list is not exhaustive. Household Cleaning -General cleaning and tidying throughout the interior of the home, including changing towels and bed linens -Laundry, including ironing -Sending specialist items to the dry cleaners -Tidying the outdoor spaces of the property, including the terraces – sweeping and wiping down furniture Childcare -Occasional back-up nannying duties, please note the family has a full-time nanny Errand Running -Contributing to the smooth running of the household where possible – answering the door, helping with errands etc. Cooking -Meal prep and assistance with dinners where possible Requirements -Legally able to work within the United States & lives in the surrounding area -Willing to take a Covid vaccine -Minimum 5 years working in a similar role, for a similar sized property -Happy to have a background check run (criminal & driver), positions will only be given to candidates with a clean record -Happy to sign a confidentiality agreement and non-disclosure agreement Desired Qualifications: • Italian language skills a plus • Italian cooking skills a plus • 5 to 7 years of experience • High school degree Additional Information: • Compensation: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour • Industry: Housekeeping • Availability: Part-time
