Please join the Saint Thomas More Guild for a Solemnity celebration of the Patron of our Diocese and of our Profession! The Saint Thomas More Guild of the Arlington Diocese is honored to host the Chaplain of Howard University and graduate of Harvard Law School, Father Robert Boxie, to celebrate Holy Mass with us in honor of the feast of the patron of our profession, Saint Thomas More. Additionally, because he is the patronal saint of our Diocese, this celebration is extra special and rises to the rank of Solemnity for us. We will be gathering for Holy Mass at 6:00pm at the Basilica of Saint Mary's in Old Town Alexandria. Immediately following mass, there will be a reception with wine, beer, and heavy hour'dervs in the Courtyard of the Basilica under the cool evening skies of beautiful Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. This event is open to ALL LAWYERS of the greater DC area and while the invitation is especially for Catholic legal professionals, we welcome all those of goodwill who wish to join us in fellowship.
