Join us June 1 and each Tuesday evening in June at Kimball’s Peak Theater for special film screenings and conversations with filmmakers. Join us on June 1 and each Tuesday thereafter in June at Kimball’s Peak Theater for a special screening and in-depth conversation with notable documentary filmmakers from around the country. This summer, we will screen films from four award-winning directors whose work has made significant impact nationally and internationally. Join us as they discuss their films, their creative and storytelling process, and the challenges and rewards of documentary filmmaking in the 21st century. June 1 - Marcia Jarmel and Ken Schneider present their new film LOS HERMANOS opening in theatres nationwide in May 2021. June 8 - Tom Shepard presents his award winning film UNSETTLED about LGBTQ refugees and asylum seekers. Premiered at the San Francisco Internaitonal Film Festival in 2019 and broadcast nationally on PBS in 2020. June 15 -- Eric Risher presents his new film Hero (directed by Ash Kreis) along with several other award-winning short films he has edited. Risher will be joined by film director Kreis. June 22 -- Sally Rubin presents her latest film HILLBILLY, winner Best Documentary at the Los Angeles Film Festival and supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities. June 29 -- Surprise Guest
