Description
Trek and talk with us at Holliday Park! A riparian wood is the special, lush landscape that borders a river or stream; if you’re from Central Indiana, with our abundant waterways, you know the smells, sounds and sights of these treasured places well. Spend a crisp fall afternoon trekking through just such a spot nestled along the White River in Indianapolis. Each trek is co-led by a humanities scholar and a naturalist. Along the way, we stop to read short writings by Indiana nature writers. You have the option of purchasing a copy of Next Indiana Campfires: A Trail Companion with your ticket.
