Walk-A-Bout 2021 "A Treasure Hunt Through Galveston Island's Downtown/Strand District" The donation is $50.00 per walker. "A Treasure Hunt Through Galveston Island's Downtown/Strand District" Check-In will be from 11:30am until 2:00pm, the day of the event, at Sound Bar, 2411 Mechanic Street (512.905.7360). The donation is $50.00 per walker and benefits Clean Galveston, Inc., dba Keep Galveston Beautiful a 501 (c)(3) organization. The benefit is limited to the first 500 walkers to sign up. Registration may be done on-line at cleangalveston.org. T-shirts will go to all preregistered, paid entrants, who have submitted a t-shirt size at registration.
