The River District tours are back on the calendar in 2021. A $ 5 donation is greatly appreciated, but not required. Book your reservations! The first Historic Walking Tour of the year is Thursday, June 3 starting at 5:30 p.m. Meeting at the Nordlof Center, 120 N. Main Street in downtown Rockford. The tour will highlight details of the new library and tour the latest new downtown lofts of Urban Equity. The tour will also include R1PC's new offices and a final stop at the new Embassy Suites Hotel. This tour will end at Embassy Suites with a post-tour gathering and cash bar on the patio out back. A $ 5 donation is greatly appreciated, but not required. The walking tours will be approximately 1.5 hours in length.
