Local commercial janitorial company looking to hire a full-time floor cleaner/general custodian. Our company has been in business for over 30 years serving many in several areas. This position is, Monday-Friday, swing shift. Use of a company vehicle is provided. Experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate. Duties can include but are not limited to: • Ability to strip and wax. • Operate high-speed propane burnisher. • Knowledge of how to run low-speed buffers. • Must be able to operate and maintain an auto scrub. • Sweeping – Mopping & Vacuuming. • Occasionally moving furniture. • Performing minor mechanical repairs and equipment maintenance. • Works according to safety procedures. • Provides a high level of customer service to the clients. • Represents the company in a professional manner. • Other duties as assigned. Preferred: • Carpet Cleaning knowledge • Commercial janitorial Job Requirements: • Must have a valid driver’s license & reliable transportation. • Must have a clean driving record & be insurable on company’s auto insurance. • Must be able to pass a background check *some work is in federal buildings* • Must be 18yrs old Starting pay: $16.00 per hour depending on experience, with room for growth.
