Join us for a community circle and sound bath at Jackson Park's Garden of the Phoenix.
The city is slowly opening up, but a lot of us are still processing just how much has changed over the past year. What does community mean, look like, and feel like to us after 14 months of physical distance?
What will we do?
Join us on Sunday for a community circle and meditation, and a sound bath led by Jess Saunders. The community canvas will be open for folks to contribute. Paint and brushes will be provided.
Where will we meet?
We'll meet at the pavilion inside of the Garden of the Phoenix. The Garden is located inside Jackson Park.
What to bring
Comfortable shoes Yoga mat or blanketWater Altar materials like flowers, art supplies, crystals, etc. Your grief, joy, and gratitude **PLEASE COME WEARING A MASK & PREPARED TO SOCIAL DISTANCE**
Who can come?
Any and all Chicagoans who want to offer their energy, their love, their prayers are welcome. This space centers Black and Brown voices, breath, and celebration. All are invited to help us do so. We understand the need for intentional support from communities and people that can identify and leverage their privilege to create a rebalancing of power. If this is you, we welcome you.
Accessibility Information
