The Assistant Maintenance Tech is responsible for coordinating maintenance projects for our apartment community with 404 units in Fall River, MA. Responsibilities would include but are not limited to: • Shadowing maintenance contractors during projects in occupied units • Communicating with residents during maintenance projects • Pulling keys, locking and unlocking units • Light cleaning of units • Moving of items within units • Recognize potential problems and take appropriate action • Operates with OSHA standards and company safety policies In addition, this individual is responsible for responding to all resident requests for maintenance service in a courteous and professional manner; following through on completion of these work requests; communicating with residents/owners regarding problem work requests and making the necessary arrangements to resolve the problems. Daily activities would include: *This position is seasonal (18-24 months). To perform the job successfully, this individual must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Qualified candidates must have 2-3 years in related experience/training as well as a High School Diploma or general education degree.
