Description

Sam is a 5 year old shihzu that we’ve had since he was a baby. He is mostly house trained but is currently outside in a fenced area. He suffered 5 pelvic fractures about a year ago and he has because irritable to small children and other animals. By himself he is a doll, he loves peanut butter sandwiches. Right now his fur is cut short so he can be cool. He does like to chew on the fur close to his tail. He did not require surgery for his fractures only tlc, he loves to play fetch. He needs an older person to take him. No small children and no other pets unless it’s a cat. He is utd on vaccination and really needs someone to love him and get him 1:1 attention. He weighs around 12 pounds. He will snap if he feels threatened but this started only after his injury thus no small children. He is not fixed, he needs an inside home only, he doesn’t have any issues with ambulation and will walk on a leash. He is the shihzu on the left in picture. The one on the right is max, he is 7, he has never been trained and also needs a home away from Sam, he has no health issues but the people that had him before us never trained him. He loves to play fetch also and prefers a man to ride in a truck with or ride on the lawn mower with. Prefer two separate homes cause all they do is fight 24/7. He needs an outside home fenced in and secure cause he is a Houdini and can get out easily. I never could train him but maybe a patient person could crate train him but he is stubborn. He loves everyone, kids, anyone that throw his toy or frisby for him. He always has a toy in his mouth and is ready to play. When you pet him he makes a grumbling sound but he’s a big doll and has never bit anything, he don’t like chickens or cats though.
