Coffee, Homemade Pastries, and a Relaxing Morning on the Peaceful Pecatonica. This is a great start your day! Don't Miss Out! Come spend a peaceful, relaxing morning kayaking down the Pecatonica river. It’s a perfect start to your day and a wonderful way to spend your Sunday morning, before the buzz of a busy week starts. We will have a spread of delicious, locally made, pastries and baked goods for you to enjoy prior to your departure and coffee options for you to choose from. Fill your thermos, and your stomach, then head out on the water for a great morning! This float will take about 2 hours, we plan to have you depart for your float by 8:30 am. All participants must sign a waiver at our office, prior to floating. Our kayaks are single person, Sit-On Kayaks and have built in backrests for your comfort. There is a cup holder located between your knees, keep in mind it is a standard size base ( think car cup holders) to fit your thermos. Our kayaks also have a paddle clip to secure your paddle to the side of the kayak, giving you hands free floating, if you wish. Be aware you may get wet feet when entering the kayak, please dress accordingly.
