Influenced by home cooked Vietnamese meals, classical culinary training, Chez Panisse, Alice Waters, and travels around the world, holistic chef Victor Nguyen founded Kitchen Metta in 2009 and has been creating uplifting and delicious food and drink experiences ever since. “What’s important to me when it comes to my food is the quality of ingredients and the energy that is put into the preparation and serving of each dish. I infuse a lot of love and care into every step of the way because it makes a positive difference for all involved.” Victor believes in using fresh organic ingredients, sourcing pasture raised meat and poultry, and wild and sustainable fish and seafood. Plant based and gluten free options are easily integrated into any menu. Kitchen Metta is proud to be free from additives, preservatives, artificial colors and flavors. The current home of Kitchen Metta is located in the special community of Bird Rock La Jolla, just a 5 minute walk from the Pacific Ocean.
