LIVE MUSICBOUNCY HOUSESKIDS ACTIVITIES ALL AGES 3 ON 3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT"SUPERHERO PARADE" HONORING ALL AREA FIRST RESPONDERSFOOD & DRINKENTERTAINMENT PROVIDED BY: ST OCTOBER QC ROCK ACADEMY I-ROCK 93.5 LOCAL STAGE DONOVAN GUSTAFSON BO ORRIN MUSIC TJ THE QUAD CITY MAGICIAN JOHN COLE BORN LUNCH BUDDIES The "Superhero" parade will take place on Saturday, July 3rd @ 10:00am. The parade will originate and end at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds. All local first responders & their families are invited to walk/ride while the rest of the QC gathers along the parade route to cheer them on and thank them for all that they do. We are inviting all police, fire, paramedics, dispatchers, healthcare professionals, teachers, correctional officers, social workers, active & military veterans and their families to gather at 9:30am at the Locust St entrance to the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds. Parade will start promptly at 10. You can bring candy to throw out to the crowd. Spectators of all ages are invited to dress as their favorite superhero. This event will have a large focus on mental illness awareness and suicide prevention. Professionals will be on site to discuss a variety of topics ranging from suicide prevention to substance abuse treatment to caring for a loved one with a mental illness. They will be able to answer any questions that you may have and provide more information regarding resources available in our community. Registration for the all ages 3 on 3 basketball tournament begins on 6/1/21 @ 8:00pm and is $15/person. Each team may have 3-5 players.
