Karya Property Management is looking for a Lead Maintenance to join the team at any of our Houston properties below! Please specify which location you are interested in when applying: - Eden Pointe - Bayou Park - Villa Nueva - The Establishment WE HAVE AN IMMEDIDATE NEED FOR THIS FULL TIME ROLE! SALARY WILL RANGE BASED ON EXPERIENCE. As a Lead Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing the physical property, general maintenance repairs, and apartment make-ready, preventative maintenance, and construction/rehabilitation projects. You will oversee the maintenance staff and lead by example. Responsibilities: • Coordinate, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units • Coordinate and schedule appropriate safety and skills training for maintenance employees • Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance • Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work • Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance • Monitor inventory of materials and equipment • Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations) • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations Responsibilities: • Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or related role • HVAC and EPA certifications required • High School Diploma or Equivalent required • Must have a clear background / valid driver's license • Bilingual is a plus, but not required • Must lead by example in all areas (procedures, policies, motivation, attitude) • The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. • Have dependable transportation to and from work • Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability • Enjoy working with others and taking direction when needed • Maintain a friendly and customer service oriented approach to co-workers and residents
